Specific Strategies So Simple You May Already Know Them
Strategy has come to be associated with complex thoughts and ideas. We all employ specific strategies in everyday life. From deciding a route to the convenience store to doing household chores we all formulate strategy in one aspect or another.
Specific strategies for building wealth are not reserved exclusively for the wealthy. However, observing the wealthy is a great place to start after you have made the decision to become wealthy.
You have probably heard the phrase: It takes money to make money. That simply is not true.
The road to financial freedom
is not paved with the amount of money you earn, instead employing specific strategies that will move you toward financial freedom involve how much money you earn and keep. Most people say they would like to become wealthy or hope some day to be financially independent while others simply look for job security in positions where too much effort, thought or strategic planning are not required. As mundane and weak as these may seem it is the reality of people in general. In-fact I know many who fail to recognize those specific strategies as necessary for accumulating wealth.
For example, many people have discovered the benefits for building wealth by having a home based business. If you don't already have a home based business please read a complimentary report that explains why it's important to start one
Today!
Unfortunately, the reason most people fail to recognize the opportunities associated with having a home based business is because they are generally stuck in traditional conditioning and believe in limitations and scarcity. Their belief keeps them bound by a certain reality without any thought of putting into practice, specific strategies for building long term wealth.
You are different. I know that because you are still here reading this. You probably could be doing something more intriguing with your time ~ there is probably something compelling to watch on television and yet you chose to spend your time with me. That tells me something about you. You came with an expectation to get a new idea and my intention is to give you one.
It's better to give than to receive
is a phrase we all have heard before. What if it's true? The power of strategic planning cannot be underestimated. One of the best ways to understand planning strategically is associating with a board game. With your competitive cap on ~ what is the ultimate object in any game worth playing? ... winning, right!?! Yes! And now is the time to free yourself from that nonsense about how it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game ... the reality is yes, it is how you play the game because you play to Win! In fact you must employ specific strategies to Win!
The game of life is about winning, nothing more nothing less. Winning comes in different shapes and forms which only you can decide for yourself. With respect to a board game the object is outlined in the rules of play. Once the rules of the game are understood we can then formulate specific strategies, a plan of attack ... a route to take ~ a course of action. Tactics on the other hand represents the actions ~ decisions ~ checkpoints along the way toward the goal ... toward the completion of the mission.
Strategy & Tactics are influenced by your particular mind-set.
The Game of life!
If you are playing to simply have fun ... your strategy and plan of attack will be weak and your efforts, half-hearted. However, if your mind-set is to win, you will be actively engaged in the rhythm of the game. This is life. No specific strategy ~ no passion. No goals ~ no fulfillment. Low expectations create complacency and indifference and these spread throughout other areas of your life. Determine what's important to you by simply looking at the quality of your friendships, relationships, how you spend your time, money and where you focus your attention.
Imagine if you wanted to be a world class Gymnast ... by the way, world class means you intend to 'Win' ... and consider the lifestyle you will need to maintain. Hanging out with negative, out of shape, toxic people, eating junk food, failing to practice are a few examples of unhealthy habits for cultivating a winning attitude. From the outside looking in it's easier to see faults and shortcomings. You can't see the picture as long as you're in the frame. This is why you need a coach or mentor who is willing to tell you the truth concerning whether your plans and actions are effective or not.
Imagine this, the football field looks a whole lot different from the stands or television than it does behind the center who snaps the ball. In life it's important to practice observing yourself from a different broader vantage point. And a coach, mentor or close friend who will tell you the truth about your strengths and weaknesses.
Strategy involves having a clear vision of what the picture or end result looks like even before taking action. Tactics on the other hand are those small steps | actions towards the fulfillmet of the desired end result.
What have you decided for your life? What!?! ... You haven't made a decision yet? Really? Make note that any indecision is a decision. You have chosen this life you now live. Really. Our power to choose is so fundamental that we often take it for granted. Don't ever forget you do have a choice. Listen to your self talk ... "He made me angry" "She didn't pick me up, that's why I was late" "The meeting ran over schedule" "I'm too old to save money" "Money changes people, that's why I'm satisfied with what I have" ... these all represent choices that you have made. You've chosen these responses. As simple as it is to choose these, it's just as simple to choose otherwise.
Try this: "I understand what you're saying, I disagree ~ let's simply agree to disagree" "The meeting looks like it will run over can we reschedule?" "As old as I am, it's increasingly important for me to leave a legacy for my children and grand children" Exercise your freedom to choose, it's your birthright and the only thing you have 100% control over.
So what is your specific strategy or plan of attack for life? Are you interested in 'Winning' while playing the game of life or are you of the opinion "It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game" ... If so, choose to quit thinking such mediocrity.
What is your passion? What do you feel most comfortable doing? What activities are you willing to do for free? I won't tell anyone, if you're getting paid for something you would be willing to do for free! Getting paid for doing something you would do for free is in my opinion, the best position to be in.
Live on purpose. Set higher expectations for yourself and those around you. Create a definite plan of action and employ specific strategies to achieve your goals. Have fun. Be with people who support your growth rather than suppressing it. Use the 80/20 rule in all areas of your life. (20% of the people impact 80% of your life) (20% of your actions bring 80% of the results) Determine what the 20% represents and get to work on those things.
